Dreaming of floating just above the ground: what it means

Your feet were almost touching the floor, close enough that you could have stepped down at any moment, and yet you stayed up. That nearness is what gives this scene its character. Your mood in the dream shifts it too. If the lightness felt pleasant, like a held breath of possibility, you may be enjoying the freedom of not yet deciding.
